Introduction to the Breaker Hammer
Hydraulic breaker, also known as "breaker Hammer " is powered by the pressure provided by excavators, loaders or pumping stations. It can more effectively break down stones and rocks in construction projects and improve work efficiency. The principle of selecting a hydraulic breaker is to choose the most suitable one based on the model of the excavator and the working environment
Working principle: At the beginning of the piston's return stroke, the piston's last impact has ended and it is in a state of instantaneous pause. At this point, the V2 chamber of the main valve is a low-pressure chamber, while the V4 chamber is a normal high-pressure chamber. Therefore, the main valve core is at the lower limit position. In this way, the front chamber V1 of the piston is connected to the high-pressure oil through the main valve core, while the rear chamber V3 of the piston is always connected to the return oil chamber and is at a low pressure. Therefore, under the action of the high-pressure oil in the front chamber, the piston performs a return acceleration motion and simultaneously compresses the nitrogen in the tail nitrogen chamber, achieving adiabatic compression.
Under the action of high-pressure oil, the piston continues to move upward in its return stroke. When the lower side of the middle section of the piston passes below the control port, the high-pressure oil in chamber V1 enters chamber V2 of the main valve. As the hydraulic pressure acting on the main valve core through chamber V2 is greater than that acting on the main valve core through chamber V4, the valve core is forced to start reversing its movement. The movement of the valve core gradually reduces the high-pressure oil entering the V1 chamber, causing the corresponding return thrust acting on the piston to gradually decrease, while the return resistance exerted by the compressed nitrogen gas becomes increasingly large. Thus, the piston enters the return braking stage. The valve core will eventually be completely cut off to the pressure oil in chamber V1, and the piston will soon stop its return movement
When the piston stops its return motion, it will immediately enter the stroke motion stage. At this point, the main valve core has opened the oil passage from the front chamber V1 of the piston to the return oil chamber of the main valve core, allowing the oil in the front chamber of the piston to be discharged smoothly. At this point, the piston begins to move rapidly under the action of the adiabatic expansion force of nitrogen. When the piston is in stroke motion, the valve core will reliably remain at the upper limit position. Under the effect of adiabatic expansion of nitrogen in the nitrogen chamber, the piston moves at uniform acceleration (its acceleration gradually decreases).
When the upper side of the middle section of the piston passes over the upper part of the control port, the V2 chamber of the main valve core communicates with the return oil, and the V2 chamber becomes a low-pressure chamber. The valve core will start to reverse downward under the action of the high-pressure oil in the V4 chamber. At this point, the piston, which has gained sufficient energy, strikes the drill rod to complete the impact action. The valve core continues to move downward. When the valve core reaches the lower limit position, the piston is in a momentary pause stage. At this point, the piston has completed one working cycle. Subsequently, the piston strikes and rebounds, initiating the next working cycle.
